Spread the love

I was cleaning bathrooms for a company, knowingly that I was getting screw over by my bosses in my pay. I was #1 worker, everyone loved me, but it was over, I was done being the slave for the company. So I got up and left that company. To go work for another company that showed that they wanted me there.

I learn, I work hard, its in me, and people love it, and I get rewarded for it. I came across a manager that told me that I need to begin to make myself known more to the big bosses, but I told him, it’s not about me it’s about God and his glory, not my glory. I needed to make sure to give God that rightful glory in the beginning. I will keep giving him the glory.

It’s good to work hard, but remember who you are. A servant of God. We are commanded to work hard, not to be lazy. It shouldn’t be a surprise if a Christian is at the top of the game in a company. Matter in fact Christians need to be in charge of companies, but why aren’t they? Because most of us are lazy. Can we all stand strong together and begin to shine for Christ in are jobs and then begin to give God the glory?

Question? Are you shining for Christ at work, school or home?

How do you shine for Christ?

Simply humble yourself. Even under people who are in lower jobs than you.

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
