Spread the love

We all have been there. “Went too far”, that statement we might of all heard in our life at one point or another. The truth is we can all go to far, I know I have. No one is perfect and that is the very reason why Jesus had to die on the cross, because of an imperfect people on earth.

It’s hard for me personally to preach this, but I have to because it’s the next topic in the study to preach on, but I feel great conviction of the Holy Spirit in me. I took the judgment seat and judge a men this pass week and my words were like fire and it totally destroy my relationship with this men and his entire family. They all block me on Facebook and won’t talk to me and I thought I would be helping them, but in the end, I sin against God and judged them.

The fact is that we are all sinners. So, we all really can’t say anything to anyone over one little sin in any body else life. No matter how great or small it is. The reason is because you yourself aren’t any better than the next person.

An co-worker who is gay at my job asked me, “Keith, what you think of me? Word is you’re the religious men around here and you know all about God, bible and spiritual thing.” I reply, “Everyone is spiritual in debt to God. We all are gay, lyres, thefts, murderers and all the sins in the book. We all have sin and fall short of the glory of God. No one is perfect. Some people take the sin too far and take that murder sin and murder tons and tons of people, others take the gay sin and guys date and sleep with tons and tons of guys, and others take the theft sin and rob everyone they see. No mater what though, we all have sin and fall short of God’s glory.”

A lot of people I know would be expecting me to tell that guy that he needs to repent and turn to Jesus. I did add that into the conversation at the end, but the truth is that each and every one of us needs to turn to Christ. Not one human is perfect. There isn’t anyone in all creation of history of mankind that can stand before a holy and pure and righteous and tell him, “let me in heaven, I’m perfect”. If you can do that, then show me how you can be perfect, because I have yet to meet a man who can. The truth is we have all rebel against God in our heart, mind and soul. We have turn to our own sinful ways and chase after the things of this world and reject GOD.

Have you ever heard of Judgment day? Maybe everyone. You have heard that before, “Judgment day”. That day is a day unknown to everyone, but only God. See, sometime in the future, everyone is going to stand before God and answer for all they said and done and think, both good and bad things. We all will stand before the judge and truly by judge. The only difference though is that those in Christ have nothing to worry about on that day. When God looks at people who have received Jesus, God really just looking at Jesus who lives in us. Picture that. You and me, in Christ are going to stand before God holy and perfect, even though we aren’t holy or perfect, because of Jesus.

Going back to the “we are all sinners” part. Jesus tells us to pay attention to the plank in our own eye, not the speck in another eye. His meaning of this is simply don’t judge at all, because we all have that plank in our own eye. We all screw up everyday, even Paul screw up daily. All we can do is point people to Jesus. Jesus alone can remove that speak from other people’s eyes. We can also pray for one another, but to go around judging people, we don’t show love of God in that.

I’m a hypocrite ya, for preaching this, but God keep begging me to preach this and so I am. This pass week, I judged my girl friend’s entire family and guess what? Telling the guy to get a job and family to turn to Christ and this and that wasn’t showing the Love of God. It show first that I’m a fool at times. All I can think is sorry now. My word during that judgment were fire and it turn everything to ashes and dust. It put me on my knees. I shave my head and prayed, “God I got no crown, I’m sorry. Please restore all this mess.”. I hit rock bottom this week and in my book I’ll explain everything, but not here in this post.

Judgment shouldn’t be put in the hands in men or woman. We shouldn’t ever judge anyone. No mater if it true or false. We just make a bigger mess of the picture in the end. We need to be focus only on our own self for now on and not on other people. Now, on teaching the word of God to people, that different, teaching someone and judging someone are 2 different things.

remember few things, judging others can only mean that your placing yourself on the throne of God. You could end a real big relationship. Your words will be fire and destroy everything and not help everything. We need to pray for other people and close our mouth toward them. Focus on our own self and not other people.

Matthew 7:1-5

7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
