Spread the love

Picture in your mind a seed. Great, now picture that seed being planted in soil. Now picture water being poured on that seed. Now picture what is happening in the soil to that seed. It dies and then a green plant starts growing out of that seed, and it grows towards the top of the ground, to reach the sunlight. As water keeps being poured on that new creation, it grows more and more and more. After many years, it becomes a big and wonderful tree. The sky seeds rain to water it and the roots of that tree are so big and strong, they reach either underground water or a nearby river. The roots some how reached to a spring of water. The heavens pour out water to keep the sun from drying up its leaves. Fall comes and it losses its leaves, spring comes and regain new leaves. It grows more stronger each year. It last 10, 100, 1000 and so on years on earth. There was no end to that tree. All its life, that tree gives its fruit to the earth and the earth receives the tasty fruit.

In Matthew 7:15-20, we read a parable that Jesus teaches about true believers and false believers. Those who belong to God will be easily notice. They will be a tree that bears fruit. A living tree. A false believer is one that their life is not matching up with Jesus’s life. From outside they look all holy and good, but the devil is in them.

Our actions play an important part in the faith. Our actions actual will tell the world if we belong to Jesus or the devil. By our actions, we will be recognized. I call it ACTION-IZED. That is when your Actions are Recongnized. Something important that we as Christians need to understand. The world is watching us, day by day, hour by hour and minute by minute. I am on Facebook and things I say, I got to watch out. People see and they can use that stuff against me and it would ruin the ministry. I’ve been there 2 or 3 times. Even few weeks ago. I totally destroy my relationship with my ministry partner and she walked away from the ministry. I got to watch my mouth for now on. Now I’m struggling to hold ministry together from falling. Words are powerful actions and they will get recognized, be careful everyone.

Now, it talks about bearing fruit. How can a human bear fruit? That makes no sence. Jesus is crazy right? Yea, people think he is, but it isn’t. People do bear fruit. The fruit that Jesus is talking about is called the fruit of Love. The Fruit of God. Which is in Galatians 5:22-23, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Sel-control. Love is the sum of it all. Without Love you got nothing as it says in 1 Corinthians 13:3.

What is Love? This an important question we have to have the correct answer to. Many people think love has to do with sexual desire. sexual desires of just a flesh desire for a men and woman to lay with one another, which happens because of love. Love is stated in the bible to be patient and kind. Therefore, it is not going to envy, boast, be proud, rude, self-seeking. It might get angered, but not easily angered. True love in is the patient to become angry. Keeps no records of wrong. Delights only in truth. It is protecting, trusting, hoping and persevere. Love doesn’t fail. True Love is God himself. He is asking his people to become like him in this way. We find this in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

God wants the best for us. I love what Psalm 1 says…

Psalm 1…

1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither

whatever they do prospers.

4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

You hear that? Don’t walk in the step of the wicked or stand in the way of the sinners or sit with mockers. A man who is right with God and walking with God, their face is in his word and God’s word is in that person’s heart and God lives and shines inside of that person.

Growing up, from grade 7. My face was always reading the bible in school. You would know I had a bible on me at all times. Like a soldier that has a gun on him at all times. I was always reading the bible. My focus was the bible and God. Now, I’m out of high school and all, but look at my life. Running a ministry and trying to get a business started. On top of that, my job sees me like right hand men. Deny 3 promotions last 6 months. A righteous men is one that prospers in all seasons. I do mess up at times, like what happen with my girl friend/ ministry partner. I’m not perfect. I’m sorry Ashley. All now can say, even though that happen, I’m still prospering and that destruction, God turn to reconstruction.

God is calling you today to become a living tree, but it first starts with you dying to your sin. The seed planted in the soil must die before life comes forth. Galatians 5:24 says, “…crucified (kill) the sinful nature with its passions and desires.” Without the living water called God you can’t kill anything. It all starts with Jesus. You must turn to Jesus before anything can happen. Jesus is the only way to be made righteous. Righteousness is being right with GOD through Jesus. Your Choice, not the prest, your Choice. Your going to stand before God and answer to him, your sin, your payment. Jesus pay the price with his own death. Receive Jesus and accept everlasting life through Jesus.

One last thing, God’s people are Hard working people. Talks about Prospering right? Well, also say, “Whatever he Does”. God wants his people working hard and not being lazy. Proverbs 10:4, “…diligent hands bring wealth…”. Lets be a diligent people of God.

Matthew 7:15-20

15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
