(Spiritually Working Out)
Pastor Brent at FBCC preached “Built Up” Series these last few months. I’m trying to get “Built Up” physically and I mean it hurts. I wake up all sore and while i’m working out, I’m telling myself, “Give up! No press on, it going to pay off.” I can’t help but think, working out your body physical conduction is so relation to the working out of the Spiritual condition to. We got Spiritual Fat that needs to be removed and it’s not a very easy or enjoyable process. My Goal in the physical working out process is to look like a WWE fighter almost, but little less than that. So I’m going to have to Eat the right things, do that right work outs at just the right time, and not give up, even when the tough get going. I have to take my body from this tooth pick, to this monster tooth pick. It’s the same spiritually for all of us. Don’t expect to grow spiritual muscles if you an’t reading the bible, studying the Bible as well and praying and spending alone time with God. As a Single, it’s so easy to cut off from everyone around me and just take off somewhere and be alone with God. Jesus did it all the time. As a Single you get a Special Privilege to escape the world around you and go 2 hours away from your house and not tell anyone where your going. You get to spend time with the Creator in a way that married couples don’t get to do. I heard a Guy say once, his wife tried to spend time with God in the room and the kids were on the other side trying to get into the room to the mother, and the father was fighting the kids off. See as a Single, you don’t have to try so hard to spend time with God. You don’t have to ask no one. And when giving, it’s only between you and God and God will bless you and you don’t have to ask your wife or husband about how much should you both give together. Being Single is a perfect set up to get closer to God. Most people who are single go have fun and waste how this time, but I want to encourage you, if your single, use your free-time to get closer to God. It will strengthen you spiritually and when you do enter into a relationship with someone else, your spiritually self will be strong, Mentally, Physically and Spiritually. Working out those things as a single is great set up, because it’s like cleaning a gun out before you use it. Or cleaning your Office before that client comes. Your execute the goal, your set your family on a right path. You set yourself up for the Blessing of God to pour on you. Don’t believe me, look at me, i’m 22, Head hourly Manager and making more money than I ever thought I would make. Being that I spend time with God, and i’m faithful with what I got. Use this season in your life to Spend Time With God and be faithful with what you got. It will pay off, you an’t working out for no reason, you got a WWE body waiting for you!
Ephesians 4:16 From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.
