Just think about this for a minute. Relationships are destored in a minute over the most simple things to stay away from. One of the most simple things a man can stay away from, that will help his relationship with his girl friend or wife to stay healthy is what? Adultery. It’s a battle in the mind of a men, that sexual side of a men, that they have for woman, but even through it was a blessing from God, now became a sin against God.
Sex and sexual thinking and all that topic together is mint to be between a men and his wife, and no one else. When men take it to “not his wife”, then it’s a sin, because in the eyes of God, it is wrong. It’s the number 1 killer for divorces and number 1 killing for the soul.
See, let’s look past the human side of things and look to the spiritual side of things. According to the bible, you have committed Adultery towards God Almighty, of Heaven and Earth. Your sin has caused yourself to turn from God to false gods. Money, sex, drugs, and anything you hold highly. If Jesus Christ is not your number 1, then that means that you have cheated him of his glory. You have rejected him of his right as your God and turned to things false man-made gods.
We need to be chasing after Jesus, not money, not sex, not drugs, not power, not whatever. If you’re not chasing after Jesus, than your chasing after a false god. Now Money, sex, drugs, power, and all these things are gifts from God to people, but if God isn’t on the throne of your life, than your life is heading to hell.
The Solution is easy. Turn to Jesus daily. Read the bible, pray, and give your life to God. Take out all those false gods in your life and put JESUS there.
Back in 11th grade, I took a class on cars. Every so often cars need an oil change. So your go under the car and unscrew the bolt and let the bad oil out and then you get some clean good oil and pour it in the car.
The body, just like a car needs something everyday. Water. You drink water to keep on living. And then it goes out the other way as something else.
In a spiritual since we need to take this sin out of our lives. Put JESUS in his place in our lives, and stop committing adultery towards him.
You wouldn’t leave your body without water, or car without good new clean oil. Then don’t deny Jesus in your heart, to clean you inside and out.
Turn to Jesus and stop walking the path of sinners. There no easier way to say it.
This Passage was said more than just Adultery, Jesus is telling us to stop sinning.
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. Matthew 5:27-30
