Pharaoh (Used By God) – Exodus
Spread the love

Recently the United State underwent elections and Biden won, though disputed and fought and still with 75 million-plus Americans not accepting the results, Biden won. A lot of Americans on both sides of the political party believe that this nation is under the control of an evil ruler. We may have traded a good president for an evil president. Why do I start off this series through Exodus talking about the President? As I was reading Exodus 1, I couldn’t help but notice history sort of repeating itself.

As we ended the book of Genesis the Pharaoh was honoring Joseph, his family, and his entire household with the best of the land and the best of work too. Genesis 47:5-6 – Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you. The land of Egypt is before you. Settle your father and your brothers in the best of the land. Let them settle in the land of Goshen, and if you know any able men among them, put them in charge of my livestock.” Joseph had much favor in the eyes of the Pharaoh in his day, because Joseph literally saved the land of Egypt from a deadly famine. {This is the foreshadow of Jesus saving the World from Sin.} Then we get to Exodus 1, which says that Israel was growing strong and they were doing better than the Egyptians apparently because the Eqyptian leaders felt threatened by them. Exodus 1:9-10 – And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us. Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and, if war breaks out, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land.”

Sometimes being God’s chosen people, we can get caught up in this idea that everything is just great and wonderful, but the truth is that other people who aren’t God’s people are going to hate us and want to try to destroy us. It’s in these times that we face difficulty and hardship that we need to trust in God and believe that he hasn’t forgotten us. He has a plan and we might not see it right now, things may just seem like it’s over, but we serve a God who wins every battle, not just some battles, but he is the Lord of the Battle.

Looking at Biden in the White House is truly crazy to a lot of Christians. Everyone was convinced, Trump was the next president, but he isn’t, why? Well, let’s keep reading. I’ll be answering this question!

Now between Genesis 47 with the friendly Pharaoh and Exodus 1 unfriendly Pharaoh, we have a 400-year gap. During these 400 years, God’s prophetic promise was fulfilled. He told Abraham, Genesis 15:13 “Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years.”

Why would a good God allow his own people to undergo suffering? Athiest ask all the time, why would a good God send people to Hell? But, I’m going to ask, why would He allow his own people to suffer? Great question right? He speaks about this great suffering maybe 600 years before, I’m sure he could have made it so that they don’t suffer. There are three key reasons why he allowed them to suffer and he allows us to suffer.

  1. God wants to strengthen us. Exodus 1:12 “But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And the Egyptians were in dread of the people of Israel.”
  2. God wants to use us to show the world around us who he is. Genesis 15:14 “But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions.”
  3. God wants to bless us. I’m not a prosperity preacher. The prosperity gospel is a lie from hell. Most of the time, God won’t bless you with wealth and health, matter in fact he might give your bad health and make you poor as a form of a blessing. I have heard of God using poor and sick Christians in great ways. I have heard of poor and sick Christians having a great time with their blessed life serving God. But we read in Genesis 15:14, “they shall come out with great possessions.” God can do this, but don’t put all your hope that he’ll make you healthy and wealthy. Be ready to suffer and struggle following God in this world. Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

As we went through the Trump Administration, this nation prospered. The stock market hit all-time highs and it went up over 12k points in Trump’s 4 years in office, which no other president has achieved in our nation’s history in such a small amount of time. Don’t forget the pandemic destroyed everything and Trump rebuilt the nation up again. It’s just amazing. As we read Exodus, I like to think of Trump as the first Pharaoh, the Pharaoh that brought goodness and love to Israel. In a way, Trump was also the greatest friend Israel has ever had, according to the Prime Minister of Israel. Very crazy how history seems to repeat itself. Because this next Pharaoh that came into power was not a friend of Israel, in fact, he was an enemy. Just so happens that President Biden isn’t a friend of Israel either. Biden is a friend of the enemies of Israel. We also see this 2nd Pharaoh orders babies to be killed and here we go Biden is giving the order for abortions to continue, even trying to force American Christians to fund abortions not just in our own nation, but worldwide. Honestly, the real question is, could Judgement be coming to America, just like it came to Egypt? The Story-Line is playing out the same, almost like history repeating itself.

Pharaoh gave the orders to the midwives to kill every son that was born. In our own day, Biden is sort of giving the same type of order, but not to the same extreme. Thankfully it’s still a choice and not the law the woman must kill their babies in the womb. In these bible days, it was the law that they kill their baby boy when he was born. Complete evil! The murder of the innocent. Jesus said, “but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” This is literally the heart of God for little kids if you make them sin, but imagine how much more God feels when you kill a newborn baby. I’m a sinner and it makes my heart angry, I want to see justice for all those killed in abortion, imagine how God, who is Holy, Righteous, and Just feels about abortion.

It’s important that during these times that we are living in, as abortion is becoming more and more common, accepted, and legalized, that we as God’s people hold true to God’s word and learn from these midwives who “feared God”. Exodus 1:17 “But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live.”

So, in America, Israel, United Kingdom, or whichever country you may be in right now. How can we make sense of God allowing a nation or our nation to be overtaken by an evil ruler when it was once under the control of a righteous ruler that most likely feared God and shun evil?

Well, God had his plan in Exodus. His plan was to strengthen his people and show the world who He is. During the time of Exodus, the Egyptians worshipped false gods and Israel worshipped or should have been worshiping the God of their fathers. When we are in a time of prosperity and everything is going great, we seem to wonder off and not really walk with God as we should. So God will pull us down from our high mountain into the valley lows and use those low moments in life to remind us who he is and who we are not. He strengthens us in these low places and he used slavery and oppression to strengthen Israel during the time of the Exodus. God will stop at nothing to draw us back to himself.

So I think, God might have the same plan for America. I think God will use Biden to strengthen his people in the country to turn back to him, but I also think it’s very possible that this nation faces a judgment of some kind. What type of judgment, I am not sure. It could be related to money. Money is the god of this nation and God seems to fight against the gods of Egypt during the Exodus to show everyone who he is. So we might see a stock market crash, which experts are predicting could happen during Biden’s Administration. And we could see other things happen, maybe Hollywood will get destroyed by natural disaster. Scientists predict a tsunami will hit the west coast one day, just happens to be where all the tech giants’ home offices are located. Think about, “What are the gods of America?” and that will give us clues of what the future of this nation will hold.

So we see God use a Good Ruler and an Evil Ruler right at the beginning of the story of Israel. He used both, for different reasons, so as we look at our own nations, how might God be using your leaders. This is important is understand, because one leader God used to bring blessings and prosperity, and the other used to bring Judgement. But God used both Pharaohs.

(I thought I was going to be writing about Moses when I open to the Book of Exodus, had no idea I was about to write this.)

Wow yes we will suffer and prosper, God will humble us to bring us back to him. Yes I believe bidden plays a role, I also believe what is written is coming to pass, we cannot change this but we can bring as many souls as we can to the lord, we can donate to charities, its all about bringing those not of this world to him, I think he calls them thru us and himself. May God work his divine supernatural powers thru us strengthening us so we Can continue to serve him even better, and follow him down our God given path.

Welcome to Jesus Alone Saves!

There is one focus point for this website, it’s to bring people to Christ across the world and help them became devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Who am I?

I hold a Divinity Bachelor Degree, soon I will have a Christians Leadership too and hopefully a Chaplaincy Degree. I join the Marines in 2017 during a season of my life where I was homeless and working as a manager at Walmart. I was homeless until 2019 and shortly after i enter into the financial industry where I almost became a financial advisor, but then God called me to leave Dallas, Texas and go to north Wisconsin, where I am now a utility locator and am actively trying to get a young adult, ministry launched but am having difficulty because local churches around here aren’t interested in reaching anyone. I have been told by multiple churches to go ask someone else.

So that is me, I’m a reject from the christian community, but I will not forget Jesus is the one I am serving! I say that so that people know that I understand how it feels to be rejected by the church and it’s not right, so I’m not going to reject you, I might reject your sin, but not you. So hope you join me here in exploring the plan God has for your life.
